Πως ξεκίνησα την ψαροταβέρνα Κάβος
Μια καλή ψαριά στον Κάβο Καλόγρια, το 1989, ήταν η αφορμή να ξεκινήσω την ταβέρνα Κάβος στο χωριό που γεννήθηκα και μεγάλωσα, στο Αχλάδι Φθιώτιδας. Το σημείο που διάλεξα, μια ανάσα από το κύμα, συνδυάζει την φυσική ομορφιά με την εύκολη πρόσβαση σε φρέσκα ψάρια.
Το Αχλάδι είναι ένα γραφικό ψαροχώρι ανάμεσα στα λιόδεντρα και τα κυπαρίσσια με εκτεταμένη αμμουδερή παραλία ανατολικά και Δυτικά του φυσικού λιμανιού. Στο σημείο που εκβάλει στη Θάλασσα ο Αλμυροπόταμος, στη δυτική αμμουδερή παραλία με τα αλμυρίκια σχηματίζεται ένας σημαντικός υγροβιότοπος.

Κορυφαία διάκριση σε περιοδικό του εξωτερικού
Ο “ΚΑΒΟΣ” έχει λάβει παγκόσμια αναγνώριση από το περιοδικό των Καναδικών Αερογραμμών AIR CANADA “en Royte“, το οποίο κατέταξε το κατάστημα μέσα στα 5 καλύτερα εστιατόρια στην Ελλάδα για την ποιότητα των ψαριών που σερβίρει, μέσα από το ρεπορτάζ του Alan Richman με θέμα: “our big fat greek food odyssey".

Visiting this restaurant for many years, since the first time, always has the same quality of products and food. The fishes there are always fresh, while the rest of the dishes are always made on time. It is one of the best and of high quality spots in the area, while the stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. The restaurant is a family owned one that affects positively the interaction with the clients in terms of quality services (food and accommodation). It is always nice to have a chat with the owners. It is worthy a try even if you are passing by and want to have some rest while sitting next to the sea.

Hidden gem! Quiet surroundings, very good service, seating both within a garden under some trees or right by the sea. Tasty dishes, mainly fish, all fresh, however they also serve fantastic gigantic grilled pork chops! Must try! Highly recommend it!
